Wild Edible & Medicinal Plant Walks!
We'll walk along the bike path, visit neighborhood gardens, and wild places in town. Learn about nutritious, abundant and free wild foods and medicinal herbs, how to safely identify, harvest and prepare them!
Meet in front of Acadia Herbals in the Maplewood Shops. Walks are free and led by community volunteers. We are looking for more volunteers to lead walks. In 2012, we led 36 walks, in 2013, only 10. Please get in touch if you'd like to be trained to lead them.
