'Brookie' Gateway Park Project, Greenfield

Picture
Greenfield mayor Bill Martin is helping create four small parks in Greenfield over the next four years, each one a  'gateway' to town along major roads from the four directions. A volunteer group is working with local artists to cast a bronze animal sculpture for each park. The first park, featuring a large brook trout sculpture, cast by local artist John Sendelbach, will be at the site of the old Food and Fuel gas station on 5&10 (Deerfield st.) Our native hedgerow features aronia, juneberry, mountain ash, redbud, rose and iris.
